OCEG exams are open book, like the real world. You may use Google Search and other websites, plus your own notes and OCEG materials, to look things up.
You may not use AI. That includes ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, and any other tool that generates or suggests answers for you. If Google shows an AI overview or switches you into AI Mode, do not use it. Open the web page yourself and read it.
If our systems detect AI usage, OCEG reserves the right to revoke your certificate and ban your account immediately.
The exam typically has 100 questions, a 2-hour time limit, and a passing score of 70. You may retake an exam up to six times per year.
