How to Manage Your OCEG Subscription

Managing your OCEG subscription is simple and can be done directly through your account settings. This article explains how to disable auto-renewal and outlines the associated impacts on your subscription benefits.

The annual subscription has an initial discounted price and then renews automatically every 12 months. You'll receive a courtesy reminder email before the renewal date to ensure your subscription aligns with your needs.

NOTE: All email reminders are a courtesy and OCEG cannot guarantee delivery because we do not control your spam/junk filters.

Turning Off Auto-Renewal

To disable the auto-renewal feature for your subscription:

  1. Log in to your OCEG account.

  2. Navigate to the Billing & Receipts section from the top-right menu.

  3. Locate the Autopay option and toggle it off.

Once auto-renewal is turned off:

  • Your subscription will not be renewed at the end of its current term.

  • You will retain access to your standard All Access Pass benefits until the term expires.

  • Any additional features linked to specific premium tiers, such as VIP benefits, may be removed immediately after auto-renewal is disabled.

Specific VIP benefits such as Price Protection, Certification Protection, Automatic CPE Tracking, Early Access Sprints, and VIP support will be terminated immediately.

Preventing Future Charges

Turning off auto-renewal ensures that no future charges will occur after your current subscription period ends. If auto-renewal is already turned off on your account, no additional payments will be processed.

Courtesy reminder emails are sent before the renewal date, but managing the subscription cycle remains the user's responsibility.

Removing Saved Payment Methods

In addition to stopping subscription renewals, you may choose to remove your saved payment method from your account. To do this, navigate to the Billing & Receipts section and follow the instructions for managing your payment details.

Terminating Your Subscription

If you no longer wish to use your account, you can choose to terminate your subscription entirely. This option is also available under the Billing & Receipts section. Terminating your subscription will immediately cancel your account and end any active access. Ensure that this is your preferred action before proceeding.

Certification and Refund Impacts

If your subscription expires or is canceled immediately, any certifications under the OCEG policies must be removed from professional profiles like LinkedIn. Additionally, renewal charges processed before cancellation are nonrefundable, but access is retained for the renewed term.

By following the steps above, you can effectively manage your OCEG subscription according to your preferences and ensure clarity on the consequences of each action.

Ensure you review OCEG's renewal and refund policies before making changes to align your subscription management approach with your needs.
